Please note that QVC does not use advertising or marketing cookies, or tracking pixels (web beacons), on the QVC+ website.

Information We Collect

When you visit the QVC+ website, our web server will temporarily record certain information from the device you use to access the website: the domain name or IP address of the requesting computer, the access date, the file request of the client (file name and URL), the HTTP response code and the website from which you are visiting us, the number of bytes transferred during the connection and, if applicable, other technical information that we use and statistically evaluate for the technical implementation of the website's use (such as delivery of the content, guaranteeing the website's functionality and security, and protection against cyber-attacks and other abuses).

It is necessary to store and process the information referred to above for the duration of your session in order to deliver our website content to your device. We also store some of this information in the log files of our servers. We will not combine this information with your IP address or other personal data relating to you except as disclosed below. Also, we use analytics cookies that may create a random ID that is assigned to you. Please read the Analytics Cookies section below for more information.

This processing takes place for the fulfilment of the existing contract of use with you, as far as it serves the technical implementation of the website's use, and to otherwise protect our legitimate interest in making our website user-friendly, safe and secure.

Types of Cookies

All cookies are one of two variants:

• Session Cookies: also called transient cookies, are temporarily stored in your browser for the duration of a browser session and typically store information in the form of a session identification and no further information personally identifying you.

On the QVC+ website we employ the following types of cookies:

These cookies are a mixture of first-party cookies, which we set ourselves, and third-party cookies, which are set by our service providers.

We use cookies to provide the following functions:

• Session Management – to ensure that your session is routed to the correct system for the duration of your visit.
• Usage Tracking – we use cookies to analyse ongoing usage and performance of the website (including video playback quality), which allows us to maintain and improve the QVC+ service.

We use a number of cookies which are strictly necessary to allow you to access the QVC+ website, to move between pages and to receive services which you have requested. The types of data collected may include the session identifier, IP address and related information, the time of visit and the webpage URL.

Analytics Cookies

We use Analytics cookies to understand the usage, performance and effectiveness of the QVC+ website, in particular the quality of video playback (for example start-up time, buffering and errors) and aggregate audience/usage statistics. This allows us to provide a high-quality experience and to identify and fix any issues that arise.

The above-mentioned analytics cookie is not strictly necessary to deliver the website or play the video content, and are therefore only set with your prior consent, consistent with the approach already in place for the QVC+ app on TV and Smart TV devices.

Analytics Provider (NPAW)

We use NPAW – Nice People At Work (“NPAW”) to conduct analysis of the QVC+ service's usage and to improve and optimise its features. NPAW collects information about how video content performs and is used, including playback-quality metrics (such as start-up time, buffering and errors), viewing/engagement, device and browser type, and IP address (from which approximate location may be derived).

NPAW does not receive any QVC customer or account identifier, and QVC does not pass any such identifier to NPAW. NPAW generates a random, anonymous identifier for each visit solely to distinguish between sessions; this identifier is not linked to a customer ID or similar. NPAW does not collect or use your data for its own purposes.

Cookie Consent

When you visit the QVC+ website, you will be notified of the use of cookies and asked to provide your consent for cookies which are not strictly necessary for us to deliver the website to you (currently, Analytics cookies). Data Retention and Deletion
